Tokyo Trip : Shinjuku and Ikebukuro

Sorry for the long hiatus!! I've been really lazy and demotivated to cosplay after my exams and all, so i went on a hiatus for a few months, and then went on a trip to Tokyo! Woohoo!
Just came back from Tokyo yesterday, i really love it there!!! What really captivated me was the city lights, it's just so beautiful at night!! Though i can't really distinguish the difference between Tokyo and Orchard Road in Singapore during the day, aside from the more complicated streets in Tokyo LOLOLOL.

FINALLY BACK AFTER A LONGGGG HIATUS.
Im so fucking glad O level is over.
I hope i did well enough to get at least 9 points for L1R4 /hope/

My first event of 2013 that i actually cos-ed for would be AFA~hahah~
*i have my science MCQ paper straight after AFA but i still went ummm*
So depressing to think about how i did for O levels!!. So i kept reminding myself that LIFE IS NOT OVER EVEN IF I DID BADLY FOR O LEVELS.
I could either retake or just----okay if it's really /bad/ i'll retake.. 8(



Went on saturday ( AFA ) FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF BUYING NAIRCHAN'S MAGI ARTWORKS ( if she didn't came to SG i wouldn't have went to AFA!!! OTL!!!! THEN I CAN STUDY AT HOME! )

TADA!!!! I would have bought more doujinshi but MY WALLET IS ALREADY CRYING BLOODY MURDER. 

im not satisfied...but if i bought more then i won't have any money left for dinner..

so i convinced myself with " IT'S OKAY YOOI, YOU WON'T DIE FOR NOT BUYING MORE DOUJINSHI, FOOD IS MORE IMPORTANT /RUNS AWAY FROM BOOTH CRYING TEARS OF DESIRE AND AGONY/ "

Then came Sunday!! made plans to cos Magi ( Postcard ) with Melisa and Jorine! ( this plan was initially scheduled on cosfest, but i couldn't make it so yeah ) 8(

...a terrible thing happened...we wanted to go to the sixth floor toilet of suntec to change out when we're at the second /third floor..but it seems like the whole suntec is undergoing some crisis or smth because the whole covention's escalator wasn't working, including the lift, omg.
WE HAD TO CLIMB ALL THE WAY UP TO SIXTH FLOOR SDHJASHDJSHAUJDHJSF
adding on to that, the toilet was ~pitch~ black. couldn't see a single fucking thing.

BUT WE YOLO AND DECIDED TO CHANGE IN THE PITCH BLACK TOILET
JORINE AND I CHANGED BEHIND THE ENTRANCE DOOR OF THE TOILET OMG HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
 but yeah the lights came back afterawhile.

STGCC'13

annnnnnndddddd i am back!
Went to STGCC last Sunday, it was fun catching up with friends!!
I wasn't supposed to go..*exams on Monday lol* but I decided to YOLO and went to STGCC anyway because i really miss my friends a lot! ಥ_ಥ
Studied a little bit of Physics before I went as plain Jane without any make up on..my eyes look really tiny

Didn't camwhore with a lot of people because I was feeling unglamorous on that day without any make up on LOL!

I was really *hyped* seeing Mato and Shera's Genderbent Shizuiza cos!!

My initial plan was to meet Rei and study at STGCC *very conducive environment!!*

We ended my chit chatting at one corner ROFL

Studying plans at events don't work out from the start LOL

COSFEST'13

and here is another entry!

Cosfest, overall, was not really fun, but it drains my energy out. However all the time i spent with my friends are worth it!! <3 i miss you guys so much!!

I was actually supposed to cos Alibaba with my team mates but i didn't managed to finish my costume in time due to my incompetence, and i was feeling really apologetic. :( 

Because of me we didn't get to cos the trio, which we were looking forward to so much. :(

In the end they had a change of plans! >< 

Anyway, to skip to the point, the happiest moment i had during cosfest was when i bought my Magi keychains and badges, and the Shizuiza postcard i got from Junko!! >/////< 

DAY 1

The day that i was supposed to cosplay with my teammates..but i couldn't make it ;_;

So i ended up as their "personal helper/manager" LOL!

I went to cosfest straight after my morning lesson in school..I think day 1 is pretty much "fun" in a way i guess. Haha. i wanted to socialize with cosplayers ( esp magi cosers! ) but i had a pretty hard time starting a conversation with them as i was not cosplaying 8( * no one wanted to talk to a hobo LOL *

But somehow i managed to exchange all my coscards away ..and i was shocked to find that all my coscards were gone by the end of the day LOL

I went to sleepover at Namiko's house at the end of the day, simply because my mom went overseas and i was too scared to sleep alone!! :( 

Helped her cut her coscards...but gave up halfway and went to use her Computer LOL

DAY 2

A day to study at cosfest with Alice ( Im sure it's not gonna progress well) but we went ahead anyway.

And i ended up motivating her to study! ( well i guess this is productive too! ) 

Alice gave me her Artist namecard and this is what she drew on the back along with the appreciation message she wrote! Little Kougyoku with Judal! //// I love this pairing!! thank you Alice! <3

Honestly this was really tempting me. I had to ask Alice and the rest whether i should get it for over 3 times before i decide to get all 3 of them LOL 

Me: I HAVE TO SAVE MONEY!!!!!!!!

Conclusion..

I admit that i half regretted not cosplaying on cosfest, but i was also kinda relieved that i didn't . 

When i told my teammate that i will not be able to join them, i had the feeling of a heavy weight that just got removed off my shoulder..Like..i didn't have to worry about cosfest anymore.

I felt that i didn't enjoy cosplay as much as i did in the past, which disappoints me a lot. 

I used to love cosplaying so much, but where did that passion go to? :/ 

I can name numerous reasons to it, but i guess it's probably because im having my O level year this year, and im just feeling a bit of withdrawal that's all..? 

I still love cosplaying as a whole but, i felt that i enjoy more seeing other people cosplaying, than when i cosplay myself. 

But again i'll feel rather left out from my social circle as well 8( 

..

Oh well i guess...i still had fun !

Though im really drained out during the course of this two days LOL 

Im feeling kinda dead!

Yes, i've been feeling kinda dead for the whole of June 'holidays'..

It's not even /holiday/ because i have school lessons till the mid of June..and i have to go back to school on the last week of June!

I have no motivation to sew my costume for cosfest which is in 2 weeks!! 

 I also have no motivation to study for my exam which is a day after cosfest :(

I dont really know what to say anymore 8(

I'm feeling really stressed out and i lost my aim in life!

sometimes when i go out shopping alone in the town, i would ramble through the shops, roads, streets and suddenly i found myself at the library..or places i didn't plan on going but my legs carried me there anyway.

That feeling when you have no idea where to go, but you dont want to go home yet because there's nothing to do at home AND YOU HAVE TOTALLY NO IDEA WHAT TO DO IN LIFE and you start walking around the town aimlessly i dont even

Anyway, to cut to the chase, I only had 2 shoots during the June holidays! 

Ib shoot was planned like 1 week before but my partner and I didn't really discuss about the details of the shoot until like..maybe 2 days before hahaha!

I guess it's because i was feeling REALLY DEAD and i didn't want to care about anything that i got myself involved in..

Since my mary costume was already made last yearfor STGCC so there's no WIP photos! LOL!

tried making Mary's frame for the shoot but it K.O-ED on me halfway through the shoot LOLOLOL

I dont really suit blonde..but i have no idea why i have so many blonde plans! DX

Mary was a character i really fell in love with after playing Ib, and I feel so much for her wanting to get out of the guertena world with Ib..she really wanted companies ;_; 

As much as i want her to leave the guertena world, i also want garry to escape too! DX

i really hope there's a ending in which the 3 of them can leave together!! ;_;

I was wearing Dolly+ Blue contact lens but it's not really obvious..The red,brown and grey are really obvious but the blue sucks DX

okay, i made a really stupid mistake

i wanted to make a belt so i bought eyelets from daiso but i forgot to buy the eyelet hole punch 

In the end i had to use a normal hole puncher..as you can see, the position of the hole is really weird!

 i forgot to mention that halfway through the shoot,  i walked past civilians in cos and it was super awkward. ( NO, I DONT BLEND INTO THE CROWD ), I MEAN WHO THE HELL WEARS RED CONTACT LENS, WITH ^ THAT MAKE UP, DRESSED UP LIKE A DAMN HIPSTER ( not sure if it's the right word HAHA ) AND WALK ON THE ROADS WHERE /OFFICE/ PEOPLE WORKS. 

Super awkward, really. 

anyway..books that i indulged myself in during this holiday.. ( these are my happiness they cheer me up and i cant sleep at night after reading )

Went to curefest yesterday after my Mock exam as an excuse to take a break from my studies 8'D
and nope, i didn't cosplay cause..
MT O level is  in 2 weeks and well..must study. HAHA
My mind is filled with "STUDY YOOI GET AN A1 A1 A1 A1 A1 " recently and it has been suffocating me..

Anyway, back to the topic on curefest, it was held at Marina Regatta..Other events were held there as well so it's quite crowded. But at the later half of the day..wow hot guys with solid muscles running(?) in front of me in a straight line *whistles*

TOO BAD NO CAUCASIANS HAHAHAHAHA

WELL,BACK TO THE TOPIC ON CUREFEST, IT WAS UNEVENTFUL
basically because im not quite a fan of Jojo ? 8(
i feel my energy draining away..fast.. the weather is so damn hot and i regret wearing a dark blue dress with long sleeves . i was DRENCHED IN SWEAT ( god this is so disgusting but what can you expect in singapore , SUMMER EVERYDAY )

It was a good time to catch up with old friends. God i love all of you so much.

wanted to doll myself up prettily but i was in a rush to meet Yuukiko ( who couldn't make it to curefest ) ..
